Affiliate Disclosure
SetupFind earns commission when you buy through some of our links. Here is exactly how that works, and what it does not change.

The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the retailer pays us a small commission. You pay exactly the same price you would have paid otherwise. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
As an Amazon Associate, SetupFind earns from qualifying purchases.
Why we use affiliate links
Independent research costs time. Affiliate commission is what pays for it. The alternative models (display advertising, sponsored posts, or manufacturer partnerships) all put pressure on what we are willing to say about a product. Commission on a purchase you were already going to make is the least distorting option we could find.
What it does not change
- No brand pays for a recommendation. We do not accept payment, gifts, or any other consideration in exchange for a positive mention, a ranking position, or inclusion in a guide.
- Commission rate never affects placement. Retailers pay wildly different rates. We do not weight recommendations toward the ones that pay more, and where a better product happens to carry no commission at all, we still name it.
- We link to products we would not buy. If a popular item is the wrong choice for most people, we say so, and we still link it, because you may have a reason we do not know about.
- Nothing is written by an advertiser. No sponsored posts, no guest posts, no paid links inserted into existing articles. We turn these requests down.
Programmes we participate in
SetupFind is a participant in affiliate programmes operated by Amazon (including Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.au), Awin, and CJ Affiliate, along with retailer programmes reached through those networks. This list changes as we add coverage.
Prices and availability
Every price we publish carries the date it was checked. Prices, stock and specifications change constantly, and the figure shown at the retailer at the time of purchase is the one that applies. We are not responsible for pricing errors, discontinued products, or changes made by a retailer after publication.
Cookies
Affiliate links set a cookie in your browser so the retailer can attribute a purchase back to us, usually for 24 hours to 30 days depending on the programme. This is covered in more detail in our Privacy Policy.
